Duties and Responsibilities
- Responding to client inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner. Building lasting relationships that encourage patience and forgiveness of issues that may arise.
- Providing clients with information regarding products, services, and account-related matters. Encouraging future purchases.
- Ensuring effective communication between the company and the client, acting as a liaison.
- Notify DevOps of customer issues with Hardware or Software
- Make sure any issues that require DevOps time or Engineer time is submitted through the help desk.
- Communication with the Client Relations Director daily on status of clients
- Addressing client concerns or issues and resolving them quickly or escalating them to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Keeping clients informed about the status of their issues and following up to ensure satisfaction. Work with help desk personnel to give constant updates of issue status.
- Assisting Sales Manager, Sales Proposal Manager the finance team with placing orders, processing payments, and managing their accounts or subscriptions.
- Ensuring that client POC’s are updated with correct information and any changes are documented properly.
- Handling routine client requests such as updating account details, managing billing inquiries through the finance team, or guiding clients through services or product features. (Shotpoint®, GEOFOB®, KWIC® etc….) This will include Front End personnel.
- Proactively checking in with clients to ensure they are satisfied and receive any necessary support. Annotating these engagements and report weekly to Client Relations Director.
- Collecting and documenting feedback from clients regarding their experiences with our products and services. Keeping detailed records of client interactions, transactions, and feedback. Reporting client feedback to the relevant departments to improve products, services, or processes. Like help desk, front end and DevOps if required.
- Supporting the Client Relations Director in developing a strategy to improve overall client experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors Degree in a business related field or equivalent experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Docs.
- Ability to handle client requests professionally, providing effective solutions and support.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuously improving the client experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred:
- 5-10 years of experience in customer service or client-facing roles, ideally in a technology or IoT-related field.
- Experience using CRM software to manage client accounts and interactions.
- Knowledge of Databuoy’s products and services (Shotpoint®, GEOFOB®, KWIC®) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to creatively address client concerns.
- A positive, client-focused attitude with an emphasis on creating superior customer experience.
